2020/21: Jan Laštůvka

Credentials

Just before a sharp decline hit, the popular 'Lašty' looked to be ageing like the proverbial "fine wine". He prevented a solid 4.21 goals and got shortlisted a league-leading 11 times for the official Team of the Week, voted fans' MotM on 15 occasions, sitting 3rd on my league's MVP leaderboard.

2021/22: Jaroslav Svozil

Credentials

In one of my more controversial MVP choices, Jaroslav Svozil got rewarded for his usual unspectacular but highly dependable campaign. I called him an Alessandro Nesta of our fields, who doesn't lose duels/possession in crucial areas, doesn't foul and helps out on the ball. There was only one more complete CB.

2022/23: Eneo Bitri

Credentials

Gah, remember him? A throwback of a centre back, literally throwing himself into shots, was only good for a few months in Vítkovice (if even), but that was still enough for this reluctant honour, with the entire Top 4 of my MVP leaderboard buggering off over the summer. I wasn't picking 5th Klíma.

2023/24: Ewerton

Credentials

Named captain over the summer, Ewerton used the surprising load of responsibility to power himself to the 2nd place on the league's MVP leaderboard. He was an immediate cheat code for all kinds of ball progression, and contributed to a whopping 33 Baník goals, or 62.3% of all.

2024/25: Matěj Šín

Credentials

The wonderkid had arrived — and then immediately departed. Only Šulc and Provod, two league MVP front-runners, delivered to their respective teams more expected points per game than Matěj Šín to Baník (total of 8.46). He ended up chipping in to 17 goals, 11 of them bagged in close game states.
