More of a bounce back of the year candidate than an outright MVP, Tomáš Grigar benefitted from a sheer lack of competition. Of all regular GKs, Grigar made by far the most high-danger saves per 90 mins (0.87; Hanuš was second with 0.59), and his 8 steals far outweighed 4 poor shifts he put in.

No longer the flavour of the week poised for a big move, Abdallah Gning was nevertheless head and shoulders above any other Teplice player. Despite cooling off visibly, Gning was involved in 21 goals scored of 39 he witnessed on the pitch; the 4th biggest portion (53,8%) of all regular centre forwards. Take him out of the equation at any point of the season and you’re fending off relegation.

An underrated force for the longest time, Daniel Trubač was finally (more or less) widely appreciated in 23/24, even though the true MVPs arguably left that summer (Chaloupek/Fila). That's because he finally had the #numbers, delivering his career-best 8 points, with 7 of them (4+3) properly vital.

Splitting honours with Trmal, Denis Halinský was able to stabilize Teplice’s backline which contributed to the league’s very best xGA average over the last 10 rounds. His alertness was always great, and so was his positioning combined with dynamism. And he brought value on the ball, too.
